A few plain notes about what this site is and what it is not — the same things a swami would tell you in person before you travel to a puja or give towards the season.

Nashville Ayyappa Bhaktha Sangam is a volunteer-run, non-profit religious association in Nashville, Tennessee. This site is built and looked after by devotees in their own time. There is no office and no paid staff, so please be patient with us when you write.
Puja days, venues and the yatra dates can change — a host's plans shift, a hall becomes unavailable, travel is rearranged. The calendar on this site is the current word, and we update it as soon as we know. Please check it, or ask a Guru swami, before you travel.
The treasurer issues a receipt for every donation, for your own records. Each receipt states the value of any goods or services you received in return, so you can see what part of your gift was a donation. Nothing on this site is tax or legal advice — please speak to your own adviser about what you can claim.
Payments are processed by Square, and Square's own terms apply to the payment itself. If the committee agrees to a refund, it is issued in Square and then shows on your record here, with the receipt marked as voided. Refunds are never made from this site on their own.
You take part in pujas, hosted days and the coach journey at your own responsibility, and you look after your own children and belongings. The sangam and its volunteers are not liable for loss, injury or delay beyond what the law requires of us. If you have a health concern about the vratam or the journey, please speak to your doctor and to a Guru swami.
We link to temples, to Square and to other sites that may be useful to you. Those sites are not under our control, and we cannot answer for what they publish or for how they handle your information.
